Zoning Board of Adjustment
Meets on Third Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m., Town Office on "as needed" basis
The main responsibility of the Zoning Board is to review conditional use applications to determine if they conform to certain elements of the Bridport Town Plan. The Board is also responsible for considering, on an individual basis, whether variances to the zoning regulations should be allowed. The Board also hears appeals of the Zoning Administrator’s decisions. Note: The Zoning Regulations may also specify certain permits to be authorized by the Select Board. Select Board decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
